Supplier impact data, shared on the supplier's terms.
Suppliers publish footprints for what they sell. Their customers discover, adopt and bind to them. Every listing carries the publisher's consent, licence and origin granularity, fixed at the moment it was published.
Replace the proxy with the supplier's own figure.
- See which of your existing suppliers already publish, on your own supplier list
- Request data from a supplier by name; they answer in-app or through the invite form
- Adopt a listing into your model, or bind a purchased good so the supplier's figure stands in for the proxy
- Registry data labelled on every report line, naming the publisher
- A refresh feed of what was updated, is expiring or became unavailable
Requesting and adopting supplier data is Registry access, added to Footprinting. Organisations that receive supplier data but do not model buy the Registry package on its own: users plus listings received, with CSV and JSON export.
A customer has asked for your footprint. Here is how it works.
- 1Your customer invited you from inside Sustained. The invite says what they need and who will see it.
- 2You decide the policy: who can see the listing, origin at country level or finer, whether you can be contacted, and under which licence.
- 3Model your products once in Footprinting and publish. Every customer on Sustained can adopt the listing; export CSV or JSON for anyone else.
- 4Reminders 60 and 14 days before a listing expires. Re-publish and adopters see the refresh; withdraw and it leaves discovery immediately.
Sharing is the door. The product is Footprinting: your own reports, labels and reformulation, with Registry publishing built in. Already hold a footprint and not ready to model? Your invite links to a form that needs no account.
Invite, publish, adopt, refresh.
Invite or request
A buyer requests data from a supplier organisation, or invites a supplier who is not yet on Sustained. Routed in-app when the recipient is already a customer, without disclosing that they are.
Publish, with consent
From a workspace with a dry-run verdict, through the invite form with no account, or via a partner. The publish policy is materialised at that moment and never changes retroactively.
Adopt or bind
Exploratory adoption for anyone; production-valid adoption needs a confirmed relationship or an explicit share. Purchased goods bind to a listing and stay current automatically.
Refresh
Validity capped at 24 months from the calculation date. Publisher reminders, an adopter feed, and a withdrawal that blocks new use while disclosing itself on recalculation.
The single audited place where data crosses between companies.
Country is the floor
Origin is disclosed at country level unless the publisher opts for finer, or an introduction is accepted.
No directory
Listings are shared only with companies the publisher has a real relationship with: an invite, a request, an introduction, a confirmed supplier link or a share code. Nothing to enumerate.
Licence enforced
A view-only listing refuses adopt, link and bind with its own error code. Export is licensed and recorded as an adoption.
Comparability kept honest
Every listing carries a methodology descriptor; rankings stay within one comparability class; externally computed data is quarantined from cross-method comparison.
Withdrawal honours history
A withdrawn listing leaves discovery immediately and blocks new human choice, while a recalculation of something it was already in proceeds and discloses the withdrawal.
Everything audited
Every significant action lands in an append-only audit log, including the delegating partner on any write made on a supplier's behalf.
Consultancies and data providers can publish on behalf of clients through the partner ingestion API, under a per-partner role, rotatable keys and a contractual assurance cap. Ask about partner access.

Publishing a listing comes with Footprinting and above. Requesting data from your suppliers is available through the Registry package, or can be added to your existing Sustained package (excluding Recipe & Menu Design).
