You've been asked for your product's footprint.
A customer on Sustained has invited you to share impact data. Here is what they need, how you stay in control of it, and how to do it once for every customer who asks.
What the invite means, and what it does not.
“What exactly does my customer need: a PCF, a PEF, which categories?”
A product footprint they can adopt into their own model: all 16 PEF categories and a GHG figure, with a data-quality rating and the methodology named. Sustained produces exactly that shape.
“How do I share it without giving away my recipe or my sources?”
You publish a footprint, not a formulation. Origin is disclosed at country level unless you opt for finer; you set who sees it, whether they can contact you, and under which licence. Withdrawal is honoured.
“Can I do this once and reuse it for the next customer who asks?”
Yes. A listing in the Impact Registry can be shared with each trading partner you have a real relationship with. Customers on Sustained adopt it; for anyone else, export CSV or JSON.
